Extensive research has been conducted by Donna Sue Groves on this tradition, its colors, compositions and symbolism, applied to the contemporary Barn Quilt Patterns to which this model belongs.
The colored reflections dress the water with vibrant colors that endow the work with an invigorating and positive energy.
There is the pleasure of travel, sailing and boating.
The treatment of the mountains in the same spirit adds this vitality to the mineral kingdom, while unifying the work in the same joy.
It is part of the theme of stained glass windows, of which there is a copy in each of the major colors of the universes of the exhibition.

It was a question of moving from working with straw to a coherent composition, in this case a panel intended to be inserted into a tray.
In this universe, the passing of time is not intended to be neutral but encourages us to live fully in the here and now, free from pre-existing fears or worries about the future, by accepting to be surprised by life itself.
The upward movement of the figures in the work and the lightening of their colors towards the top evoke urban space and resonate like champagne bubbles.
The nets with cubic dimensions in which these creations are inserted are part of an architecture where black collective zones coexist with orange zones, active and invigorating, or with those, more private, with Havana notes, all in the image of the abundance of life.
TRIDIM

It invites us to go beyond appearances, certainties and preconceived ideas.
In this new version, the green color inside the box reveals another dimension of life, symbolic and esoteric, rich in meaning.
The variations in shades of the green parts express the ambivalence of the forces that this color covers, but also celebrate nature, in the richness of its diversity.
This reinterpretation shifts the work into a different universe, without changing the core that founds its identity.
This figure gives the square an additional, more poetic dimension, with the progressive variation of the nuances.
This pattern is generally presented in an aggregate of four to six adjoining pieces.
By isolating a single pattern, its polarities are highlighted, illustrating the three-dimensional dimension of this universe in the quaternary of the cardinal points and the Compass Rose.
