Research and
development

NATURAL STONES

Combining rye straw with natural products from other realms was one of my first areas of research. Straw brings its colorful dimension and highlights the natural veining of the stones, here a sheet of iridescent silver and old gold Mica, intended for the creation of a trophy.

MURANO GLASS

The richness of the Murano glass palette proves particularly useful for dialoguing with the nuances of the straws. Thus, miniature figurines punctuate boxes or compositions, adding a new and poetic dimension to them.

MOTHER OF PEARL

It was during the transposition of stained glass windows into straw marquetry that mother-of-pearl proved very useful in restoring the vibration of natural light in the simply white or transparent parts. The effect is striking.

METALS

Produced by cold metallization on stone sheets, this new generation of decorative elements offers the aesthetic power of natural elements. It also illustrates my commitment to eco-responsibility.
